Mariel: Experience Upscale Cuban Cuisine in Boston

Really nice place with great atmosphere and good food. Everything we ordered tasted great and the presentation was excellent. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because we had to wait quite a while before getting water at the table. Other than that, the experience was very good and the staff was friendly. I would definitely come back.

I’ve been here three times and I absolutely love this place. The food and drinks are good, and the nightlife is amazing. The music and live DJ are top-tier Spanish music with a perfect mix of throwbacks and the latest hits. I had a phenomenal time celebrating New Year’s 2024–2025 with my husband and friends. Parking around the area is good; I always find street parking. I truly love this place and will definitely be back

Mariel is the perfect spot for a date night. The food is good, and the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. The decor is stunning and elegant, making it ideal for taking photos and enjoying a special evening. Definitely a great place to go when you want something stylish and different

Definitely worth it girls. Take bunch of photo since this place is gorgeous. Food was definitely pricier side but the atmosphere pays it off. A little salty to my taste definitely order drinks to neutralize it. My server was very attentive and his recommendations were on point.

The food at Mariel is absolutely amazing. It’s not the same as in Cuba, but it’s definitely on another level ….the flavors are rich and delicious. The cocktails are beautifully crafted by the bartenders Servando and Javier, who take the time to explain each drink and dish. I sat at the bar, and it was the best decision I could’ve made. Thank you guys, you’re the best! If you’re thinking about coming, don’t hesitate you’ll love it.

First time dining and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere is incredible unique, warm and you feel like you’re somewhere out of the North East for sure. The waitstaff were helpful, happy, and so sweet. The management is very observant and present, it’s great to see an establishment where they all work together and nothing gets overlooked. My food took a little long to come, they gave us a complimentary appetizer. (Well worth the wait) Food was perfect portion for the small plates for one. The flavors of all of the meals were everything we needed on this freezing day. Mushroom empanadas were so tasty, but the yuca cheese puffs basically melt in your mouth. I had the octopus and my man had the churrasco, 10/10 for everything! No complaints. Can’t wait to visit again!

First time here to celebrate a birthday and we weren’t disappointed at all. Our server was incredibly helpful and kind, bringing our food out as fast as possible. He also recommended some really nice dishes to us. The food itself was next level, especially the mushroom empanadas and the chicken nugget dish. At this restaurant, they seemed to take seemingly ordinary dishes like hummus, guacamole, and nuggets, and elevated it to another level. They managed to made the food fancy, wholesome, and nostalgic all at the same time. The atmosphere fit perfectly with the level of the food, with excellent decorations and lighting that really bright the place together. Everything from the atmosphere, the music, and the food was in perfect harmony, which made the meal truly incredible.
